fabrication

Many of our customers utilize Specialty Resources, Inc. for fabrications. Fabrication is a process in which individual parts are assembled to form a single metal structure. The assembly of parts can be done by welding, bending to form a crimped seam, fastening, riveting, and adhesion.

Since fabricated products are manufactured and delivered as a single unit, our clients see significant cost reductions in their production processes. With our global partners, SRI can provide secondary machining and sub-assembly in order to achieve lower product costs.

SRI provides fabricated products that require heat treatment, critical paint specifications, and other complicated finishes. For complex fabrications, SRI develops specialized gages and fixtures for testing and verifying parts.
